Beautiful Moments by Elka is a collection of personalised jewellery designed and made here on the Rock of Gibraltar with love.
Created in silver and gold, each piece is designed to celebrate the people, memories and moments that make life beautiful. My vision is to create jewellery that is not only beautiful to wear, but also holds a personal meaning — a name, a date, a message, a symbol or a memory that is uniquely yours.
The Story Behind Beautiful Moments
The name Beautiful Moments was inspired by my love of photography and my passion for capturing and preserving precious moments.
As a mother of four, I have come to appreciate how quickly life moves and how the simplest moments can become the memories we treasure most. This inspired me to create jewellery that could do something similar — capture a moment and keep it close to you.
A Beautiful Moments piece might celebrate the birth of a child, a special birthday, a wedding, a friendship, a loved one, a milestone or simply a moment that you never want to forget.
I love the idea that something I have designed and made can become part of someone's personal story. That is what makes this collection so special to me.
Designed and Made
in Gibraltar
Above The Jewel Box are our two dedicated workshops, working seamlessly side by side. Our traditional workshop is where we carry out detailed repairs and handcraft jewellery using time-honoured techniques. Alongside it is our advanced laser workshop, where we design, precision-cut and hand-finish every Beautiful Moments by Elka creation.
Using the latest Italian technology alongside traditional craftsmanship, our dedicated technician Jaime, jeweller Shawney and I work closely together to create carefully crafted, personalised jewellery in silver and gold.
This combination of modern technology and traditional skills allows us to create contemporary, precise and highly personalised pieces, while retaining the care and individuality of jewellery made by hand.
Every piece begins with a thought, a story or a special moment. From there, I develop the design and work closely with our team to bring it to life.
Beautiful Moments is more than a collection of jewellery. It is my way of turning memories into something you can wear, hold close and treasure.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to do what I love, surrounded by my family and an exceptional team who share my passion and dedication.

My Journey as a Designer Maker
Jewellery has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My mother, Rosana Olivares, founded The Jewel Box when my sisters and I were very young. Today, alongside my mother and my sisters Ana-Lisa and Christina, we continue to work together as a family, each bringing our own skills, creativity and experience to the business.
I trained professionally in the United Kingdom, Malaga and Antwerp as a jeweller, designer, gemmologist and diamond grader. I have also had the privilege of working closely with my father, Stephen Olivares, in our family workshop, where I developed a deep appreciation for traditional jewellery craftsmanship.
For me, being a designer maker means being involved from the very beginning — taking an idea, developing the design and seeing it become a finished piece that someone can wear, cherish and treasure.
